Dear Coach/Administrator/Manager:
The purpose of this email is to notify you of some recent changes instituted by the Kansas Premier Soccer League (KPSL) with regard to registration to play league soccer with the Heartland Soccer Association. Please note that going forward, all league fees (Spring and Fall) for the Heartland Soccer Association will be paid directly to KPSL. KPSL will then pay the league fees for each team directly to the Heartland Soccer Association. KPSL has made this change to adhere to the procedures all Member Clubs of Heartland Soccer Association are required to follow. In exchange, Member Clubs of Heartland Soccer Association pay less in league fees than nonmember clubs.
If you are the coach/administrator of a team that registered with KPSL in Fall 2011 and have received your player cards, your Spring league fees (for the amount, see below) are due to KPSL by January 16, 2012. You will register your team by January 16, 2012 with the Heartland Soccer Association (http://heartlandsoccer.net) and note that you are a KPSL team. Heartland will then bill KPSL and KPSL will pay your team’s registration fee. Your team will not be able to play with the Heartland Soccer Association unless KPSL has received payment of the required fees by January 16, 2012.
If you are the coach/administrator of a team that did not register with KPSL in Fall 2011, you will turn in your registration materials to the Registrar as explained below plus two checks made out to KPSL for the following amounts: (1) KPSL Fees; and (2) Heartland League fees (for the amount, see below). See attachment for registration information. You will register your team by January 16, 2012 with the Heartland Soccer Association (http://heartlandsoccer.net) and note that you are a KPSL team. Heartland will then bill KPSL and KPSL will pay your team’s registration fee. No player cards or rosters will be issued and you will not be able to play with the Heartland Soccer Association unless KPSL has received payment of the required fees by January 16, 2012.
Heartland league fees for the Spring are as follows:
U-9 & U-10 $695
U-11 & U-12 (8v8) $760
U-13 through U-19 $800
One additional change is that going forward all registration materials and checks must be turned into the Registrar, Dave Morrow, at the following address:

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the new Board of Directors for KPSL. Listed below are the Board of Directors and a brief bio for each board member:
Gayle Bohling, President - Attorney; Parent of U13 and U16 Soccer Players and involved in Kansas youth soccer for over 10 years; Currently manage both of my daughter’s teams for the KCFC Alliance Soccer Club.
Matt Garms, Vice President - Attorney; Parent of two youth soccer players and involved in youth sports as a coach, manager and parent; affiliated with Puma FC.
Sean Davis, Vice President - Business Owner, Father of U-9 girls soccer player and future U-5 boys soccer player, current coach of U-9 Rec and U-10 premiere girls teams within Heartland, current grade 9 referee.
Chad Glover, Treasurer - Financial Advisor, HighPointe Financial Group; Played on Udinese 80.
Sharon Stolte, Secretary - Attorney; Parent of three youth soccer players and involved in Kansas youth soccer for over 10 years; currently manage soccer teams for the Legends Soccer Club.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION SHEET
Please take the time to read this information completely as new fees and requirements have been established. Please use the reconciliation form available on this website in order to calculate and submit your fees.
KANSAS RESIDENT PLAYERS AND COACHES REQUIREMENTS
• Kansas Youth Soccer Registration forms (Include for all players and coaches)
• Birth certificates for all players not previously registered with KPSL
• Administrative Team Fee of $50.00
• Fee of $14.50 per player
• Coaches and Assistants must submit a background check prior to receiving clearance to coach. All officials will submit their disclosure form through Got Soccer. A $10.00 fee must be paid before submitting the disclosure. This has to be done before registering for each year.
• Please do not include photographs or medical releases with your forms.
MISSOURI RESIDENT PLAYERS AND COACHES
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REGISTRATION PROCESS HAS NOW CHANGED
MYSA are once again issuing approval notices in order to allow players to register with another state association. Please submit a Kansas Youth Soccer membership form, a birth certificate (if registering with KPSL for the first time), and a check for $5 per player. All Missouri residents should go to the link below in order to request approval to be registered out of state.

MULTIPLE ROSTERING
• A Player may be multiple rostered to more than one team provided that the multiple roster form is completed in full by both coaches designating the primary and secondary teams.
• The cost of the second pass is $7.50. This check should be made out to KPSL
• A new card will only be issued after any card that is no longer valid is returned.
TRANSFERS AND RELEASES
• In order for a player to be released, the registrar must receive the following:
1. Request for release / Transfer form signed by the player / parent
2. The original player pass.
• Any dispute regarding the release of a player will be handled by the District 1 Commissioner (See www.kansasyouthsoccer.org)
HEARTLAND SOCCER ASSOCIATION LEAGUE FEES
Heartland league fees for the Spring are as follows:

If you are the Coach/Administrator of a team that is also submitting documentation for player cards and a roster, please ensure that you enclose two separate checks, one for the League fees and one for the KPSL fees (player card and administrative fees).
Checks should be made out to KPSL for the amount of the league fees and turned it into the Registrar, Dave Morrow, at the address listed below by January 16, 2012. KPSL will pay Heartland directly for each team’s league fee. Teams will register with Heartland Soccer Association at: http://heartlandsoccer.net and note that you are a team registered with KPSL.
GENERAL INFORMATION
• No passes or rosters will be issued without all the relevant paperwork and two checks made out to KPSL:
(1) Heartland Soccer Association League Fees; and
(2) KPSL Fees.
• Please put all paperwork in an envelope with both name and contact phone # or e-mail address included on it. You will be informed by telephone or e-mail when the roster and player passes are available to be picked up.
• Please ensure that all passes are signed, have a color photograph attached and are laminated prior to use.
